I just got the best Veteran's Day present ever. Samantha Raylyn Larsen. Born 7:43 pm on 11/11/09 and was 7 pounds 14 ounces, 21 inches long. I'll post pictures soon as I left the camera at the hospital with my wife and her.

I recieved some cool information in my e-mail this morning.

Apparently Applebees has a great Veterans Day offer. All U.S. veterans and active duty military with proof of current or former military service will eat free at all Applebee’s nationwide on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.

Obama’s CRDP plan would help 103,000 disabled retirees

As reported here last week, President Obama has asked Congress to phase in “concurrent receipt” for all Chapter 61 retirees – those who received a disability retirement from the Department of Defense.
